The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it really is alarmed regarding the superior amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The support position established for intervention experiences a high more info inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out status sassa programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to allow the servicing of all prospects and maximize use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
